Modern Retreat in the Heart of the City10 PHOTOS Venini chandeliers, baroque accents and playful touches highlight this modern home tucked back on a wooded lot in booming midtown Atlanta. The home's small footprint, just 700 square feet per floor, is maximized with soaring ceilings, walls of windows, simple wood and concrete finishes, and a full-floor rooftop deck.
Global Mix with a Sky-high View14 PHOTOS A stunning renovation showcases the owner's eclectic global taste, with emphasis on antique Japanese screens, rustic and modern furnishings, and - of course - the view! Specific projects within include a kitchen renovation, expansive floating closet in the master bedroom, custom built-ins, and furnishings throughout.
Sustainable Warehouse Conversion7 PHOTOS Two adjacent warehouse units in a circa 1915 building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, were combined into a single modern live / work space. Careful consideration was paid to honoring and preserving original elements like exposed brick walls, timber beams and columns, hardwood and concrete floors and plaster walls.
All materials used for custom furnishings, lighting and the space itself were chosen for their conformity to strict sustainable guidelines, providing playful, functional, and environmentally friendly design elements.
The project received numerous awards, including the Atlanta Downtown Design Excellence Award and Finalist in the Spark International Design Awards.
Loft Living13 PHOTOS With soaring ceilings and industrial surrounds, loft spaces can often seem overwhelming. Instead, think of them as quite theatrical - you're setting a stage for living, entertaining, loving ... and these wide open spaces can be tailored as softly or as boldly as you like.
Kitchen and Bath Renovations17 PHOTOS Designing custom kitchens and baths is one of our favorite things, whether you're looking for a complete remodel, an expansion, or just an updated style.
